I had played Los Angeles in the Broadway show, “Cats” and when I left the show, I made my home in LA.
I met a casting director there who knew “Mac” needed a stand-in. A stand-in stands in the place of the star so the crew can set up the lighting.
(Which really takes forever! The actual lines fly by when the “star” steps in.)
So while Mac relaxed, I stood in his place. Mac’s family liked me and asked me to do more films with him.
Here I am with him on the movie, “The Good Son.”
The stunt coordinator for this movie was Jack Gill, a solid working coordinator who now does the Furious 8 movies and many others.
He suggested I do a stunt on the 3rd movie. Initially, I said, “No way!” Haha! Are you kidding?” But he insisted. The first stunt was very easy!
After that, the calls came in since I can easily double a child.
Then I did fire stunts, going through windows and so forth.
God uses my background to tell people about Himself.
It’s all empty without God. God brings life to everything. Look to Him!
