Micah Parsons wasn’t at all impressed by the Dallas Cowboys’ draft decision on Thursday night, and he didn’t even try to hide it.

The Cowboys selected offensive tackle Tyler Guyton out of Oklahoma after dropping back from No. 24 to No. 29.

Parsons, who offered a live reaction to the pick on Bleacher Report’s draft show, didn’t seem the least bit pleased.

As for Guyton, he was very worried when he saw the team trade back five spots to No. 29. The tackle grew up in Manor, Texas, and has been a Cowboys fan all his life.

“My heart dropped because I really love the Cowboys, and I really love football and that was all I was dreaming for,” he said, per CBS Sports. “But we got the job done.“

Micah Parsons Was Not Happy With The Eagles Pick Either

Micah Parsons was not pleased with the selection made by the Philadelphia Eagles either, but it’s not because he was not impressed.

Philly was able to snag cornerback Quinyon Mitchell, who is considered to be the best CB in the draft, without having to trade up. Parsons claimed to be “disgusted.”

“I mean, I’m honestly utterly disgusted,” he said. “How lucky the Eagles are. I don’t know how he fell that far, but with this run of offensive tackles and quarterbacks that’s the only thing that makes sense. I thought he was a top-15, top-12 talent — and he just fell right into their lap.

“He was definitely one of my favorite players in this draft. he checked every box. He’s got one of the best cornerbacks to play the game, Darius Slay, to mentor him. They still have James Bradberry, who may have not had the year like the big year he had before, but that’s still a good quality pairing.”

Guyton will probably have difficulty getting along with Parsons following those reactions. But it should motivate him to prove his worth even more.
