SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Grammy award-winning artist Justin Timberlake is set to hit the stage at Pechanga Arena next month as part of “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.”
The former member of the popular ’90s boy band *NSYNC kicks off his world tour in Vancouver, B.C. on Monday followed by shows in Seattle, San Jose and Las Vegas. He is expected to make a stop in San Diego at Pechanga Arena on May 14.
Timberlake released his solo debut album “Justified” in 2002, which included hit songs like “Cry Me a River” and “Rock Your Body.” He continued his success with the release of “FutureSex/LoveSounds” in 2006 in which he drew inspiration from the musical styles of Prince and David Bowie. His Bowie-inspired song, “SexyBack,” became his first chart-topping single on the Billboard Hot 100.
He released his sixth studio album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” last month after debuting the lead single “Selfish” in January.
The show at Pechanga Arena will take place on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets and more information can be found online on the venue’s website.
Beyond music, Timberlake has appeared in films like “The Social Network” (2010) and “Friends With Benefits” (2011), as well as voiced one of the main animated characters in the DreamWorks’ “Trolls” franchise (2016).
