Frustrated, Stephen Curry honest about the playoffs: “It’s difficult to…

Stephen Curry, legendary point guard of the Warriors.

It’s not a usual thing for him, but Stephen Curry has to follow these playoffs from his couch… He does it with particular attention, as he explained during his appearance on the show “Inside The NBA”.

Over the course of his career, this period of the season has often been one of growth for Stephen Curry . His Warriors were used to playing the leading roles in the Western Conference, and they used the first round to quietly get back into the playoffs. For example, between 2015 and 2019, the team had a record of 20 wins and only 4 losses in these series.

How times have changed since that time… Today, Golden State no longer has the level to climb into the title race, the proof with their elimination from the Play-in. Between the big bloodshed of Draymond Green and the inconsistency of Klay Thompson, it is perhaps time to turn a historical page in the San Francisco Bay.

Stephen Curry simple fan in front of the playoffs

Before looking ahead to the future, Stephen Curry is following the playoffs with great attention. Voted the most clutch player of the season, he appeared on the show “Inside The NBA” to accept his trophy. The opportunity for him to talk about his situation and his feelings about these anticipated vacations:

I don’t have any favorites in the title race, I really watch it as a fan. The good news about watching the playoffs from the outside is that I can wonder about what it takes to get us back there quickly. I take notes, I watch certain players and I want to feel how much I miss this environment. We will try to come back next year.

I think the saddest thing is that we only needed 3 wins to qualify directly. Early in the season we had some missteps and costly absences, but you have to realize that we are not far away. It’s difficult trying to stay at this level for so long. There will be changes, that’s a certainty, and we have time to find out. I will speak with the leaders and the coach to find solutions.

Stephen Curry is enjoying these playoffs, since he is already preparing for next season by observing his potential rivals… But he also feels a certain frustration at not being on the field, which we can understand. Let its leaders prepare, they will start the summer with many ideas to turn the tide.

Stephen Curry is not involved in the title race, which is not usual for him. He is therefore observing this with particular attention, already wondering how to get back to the playoffs in a year.
