Lady Gaga has revealed how she accidentally ended up hurting Ariana Grande during the rehearsals for the Rain On Me music video.
The track saw the two pop stars unite in sensational style as they transported fans over to planet Chromatica when the song and visuals dropped back in May.
But the making of the video didn’t come without a few scary moments as Gaga revealed in a clip from her Gagavision series.
She posted a snippet from her BTS look into her creative process on Instagram in which she revealed how she ‘shanked’ Ari’s eye with her nail while they practised their choreography.
And Ariana reacted in the only way a person should, as she stated: ‘Lady Gaga scratched my eye! It’s an honor! I hope it scars!
‘I hope it stays there forever…It looks hard! I feel like I was in an action movie.’
Mother Monster Gaga then got some Neoporin to hand and tried to apply it on Ari’s face.
Next thing you know, Gaga is seen chasing Ariana around the rehearsal room with a bottle of Neosporin and had to wrestle her to the ground to apply it.
Gaga captioned the short clip: ‘GAGAVISION – EPISODE 48 – THE MAKING OF “RAIN ON ME”
‘I’m still glowing from all of the love for “Rain On Me” from the VMAs! 🥰 So @arianagrande and I wanted to share some of the fun we had making the video.’
The ladies got a lot of love from the VMAs this year as they scored nominations in seven categories.
We’re talking video of the year, song of the year, best collaboration, best pop, best cinematography, best visual effects, and best choreography.
