Ariana Grande has settled her divorce with ex-husband Dalton Gomez – and his payout is pretty big.

The Grammy-winning star, 30, and the estate agent, 28, were first reported to have amicably split in summer when Ariana was pictured without her wedding ring while attending the Wimbledon men’s final on Sunday.

Sources later claimed that they started having problems before she left to film for Wicked last December, and attempted to reconcile.

Alas, despite Dalton visiting his partner on set in London to work things out, as per TMZ, they were unable to salvage their marriage of two years – but, they remain friends.

Their divorce doesn’t seem to have been the messy legal battle we often see when it comes to celebrity splits, as Ariana and Dalton made their separation official in court this week after initially both filing in September.

Ariana and Dalton say in their documents that they went their separate ways in February 2023, again according to TMZ.

Subsequently, the publication reports that the now ex-couple ironed everything out before going to the courthouse and Ariana will ‘cut a cheque’ to Dalton.

The cheque in question is said to have been worked out in their prenup and be worth a lump sum of $1,250,000 (£1,021,241) tax-free.

Not only that, but Dalton will reportedly also receive half of the net proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles Home.

Ariana will also pay for up to $25,000 (£20.4k) of Dalton‘s legal fees.

A source has claimed that there is still ‘a strong mutual love’ between the estranged lovers.

‘They wanted to make sure everything was done right in lockstep with one another,’ the insider added.

While not much is known about Dalton’s life following his divorce, since he and Ariana were relatively private anyway, she, on the other hand, has hit headlines many times.

The Wicked star is said to have been dating her co-star Ethan Slater, with latest reports claiming they are now living together in New York City.

A source told MailOnline how ‘strange’ it was that the pair had moved in together before Ariana ‘filed documents to end it with Dalton.’

It’s said that Ethan needs to be in NYC to prepare for his upcoming role in the Broadway production of Spamalot.

The Spongebob actor and Dangerous Woman hitmaker reportedly started growing close earlier this year and were ‘all over each other’ at a party in March.

Ethan, 31, has since split from his wife Lilly Jay, who whom he welcomed a child last year.

Lilly hasn’t exactly kept schtum since rumours of a romance between Ariana and Ethan surfaced.

She reportedly said the Sweetener singer was ‘not a girl’s girl’, having been on double dates together and added her family was ‘just collateral damage’.

By August, the Wicked pair were said to be taking some time ‘apart’ amid claims that they had been ‘sloppy’ on set.

However, if the cohabiting story is true, it looks like time apart is the very last thing they now want.
