Adam Sandler is a real life wedding crasher.

The 51-year-old popped up in pictures of Alex and Kevin Goldstein’s big day, after bumping into the lovebirds while he was at lunch.

And, after hearing they were fans of his films, the Happy Gilmore actor was nice enough to take some photos with the happy couple.

Because, why not?

Speaking about the surreal moment, Kevin told BBC: ‘My wife yelled his name. We were taking photos. He came over and wished us well, he was just chatting to us.

‘We told him we’re huge fans, we love his work, we’ve watched all his films. He replied, “Good, I’ll take some photos then – mazel tov”.’

Unfortunately Adam couldn’t stick around for the reception, but the couple were still thrilled at meeting their idol.

And we can see why!

‘My wife invited him to the wedding – he couldn’t make it, but she was ecstatic, absolutely over the moon,’ he added. ‘We couldn’t believe it.’

Adam has been pretty busy lately.

Not only has he started popping up at strangers’ weddings, he also unveiled his latest project, Murder Mystery.

He’ll be starring in the film alongside pal Jennifer Aniston, as well as Luke Evans, Gemma Arterton and actual David Walliams.

The movie sees him play a New York police officer who jets off on a European getaway with Jen – but they get caught up in a murder mystery while on the trip.

Which is definitely not what you want from a holiday.

David sent fans into meltdown as he shared a photo of the star-studded cast enjoying a dinner, earlier this week.

And we’re definitely very jealous.
