Lily Collins and the fan-favorite Parisians are back for more in season 4 of ‘Emily in Paris’, which Collins describes as “vulnerable” and “adventurous”

Emily Cooper is back at it — and fans don’t have too much longer to wait before she’s gracing their screens again.

On May 3, Lily Collins and the cast of Emily in Paris announced that season 4 of the hit Netflix series will be premiering in two parts. The first five episodes will arrive on August 15, followed by the second half on September 12.

“You’re welcome,” Collins, 35, said in the video announcing the news as she blew a kiss at the camera.

The fourth installment of the series will resume after the “dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s ill-fated wedding,” as stated in an official synopsis.

“Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed. At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups,” the synopsis reads.

Mindy (Ashley Park), meanwhile, is preparing for Eurovision with her band, “but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty.”

In Season 4, Emily and Gabriel join forces to revamp his restaurant, aiming for a coveted “Michelin star,” and their “undeniable chemistry” adds to the mix. However, “two significant secrets loom, threatening to unravel all they’ve worked for.”

The announcement video also saw the cast tease what’s to come in season 4 as they were asked to describe it in just three words.

Collins said “vulnerable” and “adventurous,” while Camille Razat, who plays Camille, said, “messy.”

Lucien Laviscount, portraying Alfie, described Season 4 as “chaotic” and “heartbreaking,” while for Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, embodying Sylvie, “revenge” encapsulates the essence of this season.

Park, aged 32, humorously quipped that her three words to characterize the season are “not finished yet,” noting that filming is still in progress. William Abadie, portraying Antoine, opted for “amor,” while Samuel Arnold, known for his role as Julian, predictably chose “fashionable.”

In the video announcing the fourth season last June, Collins teased that “more fun, more fashion, and of course, more drama” is coming in the new installment. ”It’s safe to say we ended on a dramatic note last season. And surprise, it does not end there!” she said in the teaser.

”So much happened that we just need answers to. Is Alfie still heartbroken? Will Gabriel get his Michelin star? Will Mindy and the band go to Eurovision? And what about Cami? Will Sylvie’s rekindled love last? And, the question on all of our minds: Will Emily and Gabriel finally get together?”

Teasing further developments, Collins hinted that Emily’s life will encounter “some unexpected twists,” including a Roman holiday and an ultimatum. “Emily will have to contemplate if what she’s always wanted is truly what she needs,” she elaborated.

Season 4 of Emily in Paris will debut in two parts, with the first coming on August 15 and the second on September 12. Seasons 1-3 are now streaming on Netflix.
