ALISON Hammond has broken her silence on her new 6ft 10in masseuse boyfriend and revealed he has her son Aiden’s seal of approval.

The This Morning presenter, 49, has been secretly dating Russian David Putman, who is 23 years her junior, for months but they went public with their romance just weeks ago.

Now she has spoken about the model and dancer for the first time.

Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe grilled her on their Parenting Hell podcast, and asked: “Are you single Alison?”

And she gushed coyly: “No… I’m not single.. I’m dating.

“I’m dating!”

The lads ask about how dating works as a single parent now Aiden is almost an adult.

At 19, Aiden is just a few years younger than new beau David – who is 26.

Alison says: “It’s more difficult, he is more verbal now that he is older. He’ll want to know who this person is and he’ll want to meet them.

“It’s a lot harder.

“Aiden is on it.”

Alison went on to discuss the first time the two men in her life met.

She said: “When they actually met, he really liked him, he really thought he was lovely, so that’s nice.

“Thank goodness for that! Because normally Aiden hates anybody I date, literally just not interested.

“And you just know at that point, if Aiden doesn’t like them, this isn’t gonna work.

“There are moments where I think, ‘who’s the parent here?!’

“It’s nice though because I always feel like there’s someone there looking over me, protecting me.”

Alison first met David when she booked in for a massage.

David studied as a body therapist offering, “classic, lymphatic drainage, anti-cellulite, wraps, facial massage” and his services are still advertised on a Russian website.

 

 

Last November, Alison hinted at their romantic relationship by liking one of David’s posts on social media.

He is not much older than Alison’s son Aiden, 19, who yesterday announced he will be appearing as a DJ at Camp Bestival music festival in Dorset in July.

The Sun first revealed how Alison beamed with delight as she proudly cuddled her new fella and went public.

 

The duo “looked like honey-mooners” in a series of photographs shared online.

The bubbly presenter rested her head on David’s shoulder in an intimate display and he proudly put an arm around her shoulder.
