According to Billboard, on April 21st the Chicago native, Chance The Rapper released a trailer of his trip to Ghana. His new mixtape titled ‘Star Line’ was inspired by his time in Africa and Marcus Garvey’s Black Star Line. It previewed a few clips of him and other artists like Vic Mensa, Lil Wayne, Jazze Pha, T-Pain, Jermaine Dupri, and DJ Premier in the studio.
On April 24th, Chance posted on Instagram a clip he captioned “Buried Alive (2024)” where he raps about his mind being in a dark space in black and white visuals. He also mentions his recently divorced wife and his former manager. Chance ends his caption by asking fans, “Should I drop a video?” The comment section did not disappoint in praising his new song and waiting for more during his comeback.
