Adam Sandler and Carey Mulligan brought some Hollywood star power to the Los Angeles premiere of their highly-anticipated sci-fi drama Spaceman at The Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Monday night.
While arriving to the special screening of their latest project, which makes its streaming debut on Netflix this Friday, the Maestro actress, 38, who is nominated for best actress at this year’s Academy Awards, wowed in a strapless black and blue gown.
The eye-catching garment had a piece of fabric that draped from the top of the dress to the floor.
In the film, Mulligan portrays Lenka Procházka, Jakub (Sandler)’s pregnant wife as her husband is sent on a mission to the edge of the solar system.
She opted not to wear any jewelry apart from a pair of sparkly earrings and engagement ring from her longtime husband Marcus Mumford.

Her trademark blonde bob, complete with bouncy ends, looked sleek and glamorous for the star-studded event, attended by Isabella Rossellini, Jeremy Scott, Noomi Rapace, among other stars.
Sandler looked dapper in a navy pinstripe suit, baby blue dress shirt, tie and black loafers.
His wife, Jackie, as well as their daughters Sadie, 17, and Sunny, 15, were all in attendance to support the comedian, 57.
Jackie, who reportedly met her spouse on the set of the 1999 hit Big Daddy, where she portrayed a waitress in the local sports bar, turned heads in a black dress with a stunning beaded butterfly bodice.
Their eldest wore a leather minidress, black opaque tights and high heels.
Meanwhile, the couple’s youngest, who starred in the 2023 movie You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, made a chic statement in a long leopard-print gown.
At the event, Mulligan reunited with her and Sandler’s costar, Isabella Rossellini, who stars as Commissioner Tuma, Jakub’s commanding officer.
For the occasion, Rossellini, 71, mastered the art of mixing prints as she donned a bold jacket over a polka-dot dress.
The cast, including Kunal Nayyar, who plays Peter, a technician, posed for a group shot.

Spaceman is a Netflix adaptation of the novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Czech writer Jaroslav Kalfař and is set for release on February 23 and Netflix on March 1.
Spaceman tells the story of a Czech astronaut sent on a lengthy mission into outer space while his life on Earth slowly fades away.
Emmy Award winning Chernobyl director Johan Renck will be behind the camera for the movie and filming is due to start in a few weeks.
In December, Netflix unveiled the first teaser for Spaceman, in which the Czech astronaut discovers a talking giant alien spider called Hanuš that may or may not be imaginary.
‘Just like you, I fled my planet,’ Hanuš – voiced by Paul Dano – tells Jakub in a forest during the 20-second preview.
‘Through galaxies, through black holes, through time. And then I found… you.’
The mysterious ancient creature becomes Procházka’s unlikely companion in the sci-fi film, and the two ‘form an intense and emotional bond’ over philosophical conversations.

Adam’s orphaned character regrets leaving his devoted wife Lenka (Carey) behind to embark on the dangerous solo mission to Venus, and he clashes with secret Russian rivals.
Adam wrapped Johan Renck’s $40M-budget adventure drama way back in July 2021 but, due to the impact of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, it won’t premiere until March 1 on Netflix.
The R-rated film – based on Jaroslav Kalfař’s 2017 novel Spaceman of Bohemia – is produced by Channing Tatum and also stars Isabella Rossellini, Kunal Nayyar, Sinead Phelps, John Flanders, and Petr Papánek as the younger Jakub.
Spaceman does not appear to be apart of the Mark Twain Prize winner’s lucrative $250M deal with Netflix as he already produced and starred in 10 films for them between 2015-2023, which amassed well over 2B views.
