EXCLUSIVE: Harry and Meghan have been accused of “hypocrisy” over plans for a world tour because of their previous demands for privacy.
Harry and Meghan could go on a world tour
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s rumoured world tour will be for “publicity” rather than noble causes, a royal expert tells the Daily Express.
Hilary Fordwich, a royal commentator based in the US, says a world tour would further highlight the couple’s “hypocrisy” given their previous demands for privacy.
Speaking to the Daily Express, she said: “I believe they are going to go on a world tour. It was frightfully awkward when they were in Africa recently, and the national anthem was played and Harry just stood there.
“The purport to care about people. If they really care about people they could do a lot for charities.
“Their world tour won’t be lowkey, with no publicity, and going to remote villages to raise money and help people. It won’t have an impact, it won’t make a difference, and they will be craving the publicity everywhere they go.
Harry and Meghan visited Nigeria in May
“It is going to be high profile because that is what Meghan craves. Look how she has spent her entire life. Everything she has ever done is craving publicity. They hired three PR firms when they went to LA.
“She craves the limelight. Hypocritical Harry once said that when he hears the clicking of cameras it gives him chills because of what happened to his mother. Well, stay out of the limelight then.”
The rumours of a world tour come after the Sussexes visited Nigeria in May.
Harry told a news outlet in Nigeria during the tour: “There’s only so much one can do from home and over Zoom, so we look forward to travelling more because the work matters.”

A source also told The Mirror recently: “There is already a lot of talk and excitement in Ghana, everyone is so keen for Harry and Meghan to come and experience the great culture and warmth.
“Several top names have already visited Ghana in recent years from Ed Sheeran to Naomi Campbell and One Direction’s Liam Payne.”
TalkTV host Andre Walker claimed on his programme That Was The Woke That Was: “Harry and Meghan are planning a world tour this summer following on from the success of their trip to Nigeria.”
