Love Island’s Sam Taylor has confirmed his Casa Amor fate after being dumped from the villa.

The hairdresser was sent packing from the Majorca villa on Tuesday just 24 hours after stepping foot in what was supposed to be his new home. Sam, 23, had initially been coupled up with Liverpudlian Samantha Kenny but was left stunned when reality star Joey Essex entered the villa.

In a dramatic twist, Joey, 33, the first-ever celebrity contestant, immediately set his sights on the make-up artist, meaning Sam was left vulnerable. Sadly, the Chesterfield-born hairdresser was sent packing due to being left single. But many viewers are convinced that Sam could be set for a dramatic return in Casa Amor.

Now, he’s broken his silence and appeared to confirm his future on the programme just hours after viewers saw him leave the show. Taking to Instagram, Sam revealed to his 42,7000 followers that he had been catching up on his 24 hours in the Majorca villa.

Sam appeared to be kicking back on his sofa back in Derbyshire as he caught up on his villa antics. With a TV mounted to a brick wall, with wooden ceiling beams on display, Sam rocked a pair of sweatpants as he captioned his post: “Well this is weird @loveisland,” alongside a laughing emoji.

During Tuesday’s episode, Sam was seen saying goodbye to his co-stars he told them he would see them again soon, after leaving first. Now viewers are convinced he meant the comment about seeing them soon, and that he could be making a big return to the show.

Some viewers were not convinced that producers would let Sam go from the show so early on, especially as he has proven popular with viewers. Many fans are convinced he will not really leave or could head home and then return to Spain in a few weeks. Viewers claim that Sam will return as part of the Casa Amor line-up later in the series, echoing a twist from the last series. Molly Marsh had been brutally axed in similar circumstances last year, when her partner was picked by a bombshell.

After being dumped on the spot, she returned for Casa Amor weeks later. Taking to X to share their views, one fan penned: “Sam’s coming back in Casa Amor.” Another said: “Calm down. Sam’s only moving to Casa Amor.” A third viewer posted: “Guys let’s be so fr we’ll be seeing Sam in 2 weeks for Casa or some other twist.”

Speaking about his exit from the villa, Sam said: “I’m disappointed to be leaving so soon as I wanted to work my magic and get to know everyone a bit better. When Joey walked in I had a feeling I might be in trouble. Samantha is a stunning girl and I knew that they would get on.”
