The owner of the hit Toxic has not released any albums since August 2016 and his last tour ended in October 2018. In January, she wrote on Instagram that she would never return to the music industry.

However, Britney has worked on two major projects since the conservatorship ended. The song Hold Me Closer , which she collaborated on in August 2022 with Elton John, reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Woman In Me , a memoir released in October 2023, entered the best-seller list of New York Times.

According to Page Six , it’s time for Britney to recoup her $15 million publishing contract. According to reports, she received 25% of the net profits from book sales. In the US alone, The Woman In Me achieved sales of more than 2 million copies.
