Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she will not join TikTok, swearing off the popular social media app forever.

In a new interview with ET, the 55-year-old actress — who touted her haircare line LolaVie this week — declared, ‘I don’t have TikTok, nor will I ever. I just won’t.’

The longtime entertainer emphasized, ‘I’m not gonna subscribe to one more thing that is gonna ruin my life or somebody else’s life.’

She added: ‘It could suck you in and you’ve wasted hours of your life.’

It comes nearly five years after the star joined Instagram, causing the app to crash as fans rushed to follow her.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Aniston shared about her social media use, ‘I can’t believe sometimes when I found myself in an absolute wormhole of dog, puppy videos and rescue animals, and babies, and cats.

‘That’s the stuff I enjoy. But then there’s some stuff online I just don’t wanna see.’

The Murder Mystery star continued, ‘I don’t think we are were designed to take in the amount of information at the speed and the rate that we do these days. I just don’t think it’s good for us. I don’t think it’s healthy.’

And she stressed that her Instagram presence will always be an expression of her true self.

‘I just think it’s best to just be who you are,’ Jennifer explained.

‘We’ve got good days. We’ve got bad days. We have good hair days. We’ve got sh*tty hair days. We’ve got good skin days, bad skin days. It’s a mixed bag.

‘It’s also just so unrealistic to try to sell something that doesn’t feel authentic,’ the wellness enthusiast noted.

The Hollywood fixture also expressed empathy about how the internet affects today’s younger generations.

In October 2019 Aniston joined the ranks of Instagram's most-followed celebrities when she uploaded her first post. It featured her and her beloved Friends costars Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer

‘The mental illness that kids are suffering from because of the compare and despair… It’s so hard to be a teenager these days,’ she lamented. ‘We are so hard on ourselves, and kids are so mean too.’

Another joked: ‘It won’t let me follow Jennifer Aniston on Instagram did she block me?’

Instagram apologized, with a red telling Page Six at the time: ‘We are aware that some people are having issues following Jen’s page — the volume of interest is incredible. We are actively working on a solution and hope to have the page up and running smoothly again shortly.’
