On Monday, April 15th, LSU Tigers star Angel Reese was selected seventh overall in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Chicago Sky.
She has seen quite a rise in stardom since being drafted and has had a major spotlight, second to Caitlin Clark.
The Sky, along with the rest of the WNBA, started training camp this week with the 2024 WNBA season on the horizon. Reese is looking forward to her debut as well as her upcoming 22nd birthday, which is on Monday, May 6th.
Ahead of both of these important dates for Reese, the star forward teased a “big surprise” coming soon.

Reese took to social media to announce the news on Wednesday.

Fans reacted to the post, wishing her an early happy birthday and speculating what the big surprise could be. It might have something to do with her first WNBA preseason game, which is this Saturday, May 4th.
But, like Reese said in her post, we will have to wait to see it.
