Beyonce was left impressed by daughter Blue Ivy after she “trained even harder” for her role on the Renaissance World Tour following criticism of her “lacklustre moves” online

BEYONCÉ SAYS BLUE IVY USED ONLINE HATE AS MOTIVATION TO PERFECT RENAISSANCE TOUR ROUTINE

After the 11-year-old’s dancing was publicly criticized by news outlets and fans early on in the tour, the daughter of Beyoncé and JAY-Z read the comments online and sought to improve her performance.

According to The New York Times‘ review of the upcoming Renaissance Tour concert film which debuts in cinemas Friday (December 1), there are moments between the mother and daughter discussing the criticism.

The publication reports: “It thrilled her mother that instead of quitting, she decided to put in the work and train even harder for future stops.”

The Times also revealed that in the film, Beyoncé confesses to not wanting Blue to perform at all. She says in the film: “She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no.”

Blue Ivy made her first on-stage appearance in May while her mother was performing in Paris. She made a cameo during a rendition of “My Power” and performed the choreography alongside Beyoncé’s regular backing dancers.

Since the debut performance, Blue Ivy has continued to make cameos throughout her mother’s record-breaking tour.

They previously sang together in January at an exclusive Dubai concert which allegedly earned Beyoncé $24 million.

At the invite-only gig, the two performed their song “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King soundtrack.

According to Variety, after she finished, Blue “hugged her mom, walked up the steps, and struck a pose, even blowing kisses to the crowd like a pro before she left the stage.”

They also performed together during the 2022 Oscars where Bey performed her nominated song “Be Alive” from a Compton tennis court. Blue was not as prominent during this performance as she was part of the group of backing performers all dressed in tennis ball green.

“Be Alve” failed to win Best Original Song” at the Oscars as Billie Eilish won for her Bond theme “No Time to Die” for the action film of the same name that doubled as Daniel Craig’s farewell to 007.
