ALISON Hammond appears to have finally met her match in Russian toyboy David Putman after a string of heartbreaks.

Presenter Alison’s mystery man was revealed by The Sun this month to be a hunky 6ft 10in masseur, around 20 years her junior.

Despite being a household name, the telly star, 49, managed to keep their romance a secret for almost a year with weekend getaways, where they wouldn’t be seen.

And while she was very careful not to post snaps of David Putman on social media, she once accidentally uploaded an Instagram Reel with him.

It’s also believed that Alison’s close friends, including her This Morning co-host Dermot O’Leary, were under strict orders not to say anything.

Last November, Alison hinted at their romantic relationship by liking one of David’s posts on social media.

He had already won an army of fans online before getting together with his new lover by posing for near-naked snaps in Armani pants as well as other risque images.

David studied as a body therapist offering, “classic, lymphatic drainage, anti-cellulite, wraps, facial massage” and his services are still advertised on a Russian website.

He has relatives in Brighton and is proud of his Russian heritage, posing in national dress while competing in youth choirs in his home city, Krasnodar.

In 2020, he wore military uniform and held a giant red flag commemorating veterans in Sochi on the Black Sea, where he studied — a six-hour drive from his birthplace in southern Russia.

Another image showed him in military garb, including black boots and a bearskin hat.

David was participating in a memorial seemingly paying respects to supreme commanders of Cossack armies, who originated in southern Russia.

He regularly shares images of his jaunts around London and has attended pro-Palestinian marches through the capital.

In February, David was in Rome and three months earlier in Paris, posting snaps of his trips.

He brandished a samurai sword and wore a blue patterned tunic with his hair tightly pulled back in a series of other all-action photos.

David, understood to be in his early to mid-20s, has other family connections dotted across the UK, including in Slough, Berks, and Telford, Shrops.

His Libyan-born father — also David Putnam — is understood to have married a Russian woman after his first wife died.

Alison’s fella has brothers Apollo, currently in Brighton, and Russia-based artist Sviat, who lives in Sochi and trained at the Academy of Fine Art in St Petersburg.

The model also has half-brother Kristarphor and half-sister Kerrie.

He is not much older than Alison’s son Aiden, 19, who this week announced he will be appearing as a DJ at Camp Bestival music festival in Dorset in July.

Earlier this month, we told how Alison beamed with delight as she proudly cuddled her new fella, who sports a large tattoo on his torso.

The duo “looked like honey-mooners” in a series of photographs shared online.

The bubbly presenter rested her head on David’s shoulder in an intimate display and he proudly put an arm around her shoulder.

Sources said David, in a leather jacket, “looked like the cat that got the cream”.

Other shared images showed the pair relaxing after a meal out.

An insider told The Sun: “Alison has never been happier. She has had a turbulent love-life, but is finally confident she has found a trusted companion.”

The Birmingham-born star confessed she felt like a “failure” after splitting from her ex-husband, Aiden’s dad.

And she frequently updates fans on her love-life.

 

Around the time she was liking David’s snaps on social media last year, during a chat on Loose Women over who enjoys the most “jiggy jigs”, she said: “How’s Birmingham doing? I reckon we’re up there, I really do.”

And she giggled: “Well I am.”
