LeBron James’s sons are yet to reach the mark set by their father. Firstly, King James’s elder son Bronny’s NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) value declined from a whopping $5.9 million to a meager $3.7M, triggering chaos in his life. The former University of Southern California Trojans guard averaged a paltry 4.8 points per season with 2.8 rebounds per match and 2.1 assists per contest. This was seen as a major reason for his downfall and now James’s younger son Bryce too seems to be embroiled in dark clouds.

Bryce is a shooting guard for the Sierra Canyon High School. At one time during his sophomore year, Bryce had 3.8 points per game for 12 contests with the Trailblazers. Bryce’s NIL value also seems to be stagnant for some time and the possible reason for it might be within our understanding.

Bryce when compared to Cooper Flagg has seen too much inactivity with respect to his NIL. While Flagg’s NIL was $1.1 Million on April 25th, Bryce was a little ahead at $1.2 Million. But as time progressed Bryce did not show any additions to his NIL whereas Flagg’s latest value jumped to $1.4 Million as per On3. This $300,000 NIL change has overpowered Bryce.

While Flagg occupies the top spot in high school NIL rank, Bryce is not too far behind at the second place. Nonetheless as mentioned due to some cause his NIL value doesn’t seem to be gaining at all though he has an NIL deal with Klutch Sports.

The major reason for Bryce’s sluggish NIL value might be linked to him changing his school many times. He was with the Sierra Canyon initially. He then transferred to Campbell Hall School before his junior year. However, he didn’t relish his time at the Campbell Hall School and therefore transferred to Notre Dame High School. Things took a turn when he had to again shift his school to the Sierra Canyon.

Therefore, Bryce’s career has been plagued by a lack of stability which has reflected overall in his NIL value. Another point to note is that while Bryce’s NIL value has a $1 roster value, Flagg has a $734K roster value. This might be another reason that Flagg continues to grow whereas Bryce is finding it difficult to increase his worth. However, the forthcoming steps offer redemption for the 16-year-old.

Bryce played as a junior in the 2023-24 season. As per On3, it is predicted that Bryce will go to either of the three schools- the Ohio State Buckeyes, the USC Trojans, and the Duquesne. As per the same site, there is a 92.6% possibility that Bryce might commit to Duquesne. If he wants to see a sharp rise In NIL and reclaim his top spot, then he will have to perform exceptionally well from here on especially during his time at the college.

Another way Bryce can increase his NIL value is if he fulfills his father’s dream. LeBron has always wanted to play alongside his sons in the NBA. King James after the Los Angeles Lakers‘ recent season will most probably get a contract extension of a minimum of 2 years as per sources from The Athletics. Parallelly, Bryce will be eligible for the NBA draft in 2026. If Bryce gets a chance to play with LeBron much like what his elder brother would be hoping, he might see an exponential increase in his NIL value.
