The match began with the surprise of Tomás Chancalay (1′) for the locals and a score that baffled the pinks. The reaction of Gerardo Martino’s team was late, but led by Lionel Messi: the Argentine star scored a double at 32′ and 67′ to turn the match around. Benjamín Cremaschi scored the third in the 83rd minute and Luis Suárez was in charge of closing the score, after an assist from Messi, with a strong and impossible shot. With this victory, they are leaders of the Eastern Conference.
