During a recent interview with Footwear News, Jasmine Jordan, the daughter of Michael, disclosed her efforts to gradually establish her own history inside the Jordan brand. Jasmine also discussed her favorite shoes, which she usually wears on important occasions.

According to Jasmine, her father was the driving force behind the change that turned the Jordan Brand into a multibillion dollar business, with $6.6 billion in sales in 2023.

In the interview, Jasmine disclosed that she had over 500 pairs of Jordans and finds it challenging to choose just one. Regarding her go-to pair for a particular event, she responded,

“I would go between 1s or 11s and I’m leaning more towards 11s, they’re a little bit harder to style.”

Although she like the 11s for special occasions, they are not her go-to pair of shoes. According to Jasmine, her go-to pair of shoes in her closet at the moment are the A Ma Maniere Jordan 3s, which she wears frequently. She claims that she can wear the shoes more easily with any outfit because of their simple form and the white background with hints of gray and green.

Now that MJ’s children are becoming quite interested in the industry, it will be interesting to watch if they can make a difference with their own ideas.
