Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s marriage is on a tightrope. Rumours about a possible divorce began in May and since then, not a day has passed without new details on the subject.

Although the mansion where they lived and some of their most precious possessions have been put up for sale , a source close to the couple has now confirmed that the relationship between the singer and the actor ended some time ago.

“They’ve been separated since March ,” she told  Page Six . Based on this information, the split would date back two months before the rumors began to emerge.

The source also said that the producer and screenwriter is “very protective” of her and that they have therefore “done everything possible to appear united .”

On the other hand, a second person close to the couple has confirmed that both would be ” focused on their separate lives.”

” They don’t have any summer plans together. Lopez enjoyed her trip to Europe and has more planned, but she’s back in Los Angeles,” the source told People , adding that when Lopez landed in the California city, she went to meet up with Affleck.

“Ben, meanwhile, is still living in the rental house in Brentwood. He has been there for about two months. He seems to be doing well. He has been in his office every day and seems focused on work,” the witness concluded.
