Many celebrities and known faces have made their appearances known at this ceremony. From tennis, the Czech legend and former tennis professional Martina Navratilova was even spotted at the event.

Recently, she got tagged on Novak Djokovic’s post after the award ceremony. The Serbian was the winner of the Laureus Best Sportsman Award for his outstanding achievement in 2023.

Furthermore, the Serbian was only a set away from recording a calendar-year Grand Slam but fell short to Carlos Alcaraz in Wimbledon. It was his fifth Laureus Award, equaling his rival Roger Federer. During the party, he took a picture with Navratilova and posted it on X with a caption.

Over the last two years, the rivalry has been huge. Even though it has died down a little now, Navratilova had a few words to say. She called the Spaniard a more complete player than Djokovic.

I have to say that Carlos is so complete. Djokovic is incredible but Alcaraz takes tennis to a different level because he improvises better than anyone else.
