Pelicans Troll Stephen A. Smith with Hilarious Footage of His Athletic Mistakes

Following ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith‘s most recent, vehement tirade against New Orleans Pelicans sensation Zion Williamson, the Pelicans social media team decided to seize the initiative.

Smith might have been used to criticism from fans for his spicily expressed opinions, but this time, he got something even more embarrassing.

The Pelicans playfully made fun of the longtime analyst on Friday by uploading a blooper reel featuring Smith trying his hand at boxing, baseball, basketball, and other sports. “Flock it, Stephen A. Smith highlights,” they captioned it.

Along with other “highlights” of Smith’s athletic career, the blooper movie featured a snapshot of Smith’s college basketball stats for Winston-Salem State University, where Smith set the record in August of last year.

This season, Williamson—his fifth in New Orleans—is averaging 22.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game. With a 34–22 record and eight victories in their previous nine games, the Pelicans are in fifth place in the West.
