Shaquille O’Neal shared a crazy theory on Tuesday night that there could be more than one moon in orbiting our planet.
Following the second game of their Tuesday night doubleheader between the Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings, the NBA on TNT analyst and basketball legend showcased his observation of space.
“I have a new theory,” O’Neal told his colleagues. “There’s more than one moon.”
O’Neal continued:
“Let me tell you my theory,” said Shaq. “The other day I was riding, passed Auburn as a matter of fact, and the moon was on the left and I keep going straight, making little turns, and about 20 minutes later, the moon was behind me.”
“That’s cause it was moving, fool!” Barkley chimed in.
“Nope, there’s more than one moon,” O’Neal said. “And then, another 45 seconds, the moon was on my right; there’s more than one moon.”
This is hardly the first time Shaq has openly questioned something. back in 2018, he questioned whether California was farther from than their Atlanta studio than the moon. He argued that it was because he can’t see California if he were to walk outside, but he can see the moon.
Our theory is that Shaq might be smoking that good stuff before work.
Beginning with his selection as the first overall pick by the Orlando Magic in 1992 out of LSU, Shaq was a part of four NBA Championship teams, three with the Lakers and one with the Heat. He won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in 2000, was MVP of the Finals three straight years.
He was also a 15-time All-Star and an eight-time All-NBA first team selection.
On the court, Shaq will certainly go down as one of the greatest players of all time and will forever be remembered as one of the biggest, most intimidating big men in history.
