And now, a report from NFL Network suggests, Henry was out of Jones’ price range for a running back. Henry signed a two-year $16 million deal with the Ravens, which can be worth up to $20 million with incentives. So, many started questioning Jones’ ‘All in’ motto if he couldn’t even spend $16 million on a star player like Henry.

The Cowboys lost their starting RB Tony Pollard in free agency as he signed a three-year deal with the Tennessee Titans. Now, the Dallas-based football team doesn’t have a starting RB. Due to Jones’ hesitation to pay RBs, now the Cowboys might have to settle for a tier 2 RB. All the star running backs that were available in the market either signed a new deal with the other teams or were traded.

Besides, it’s not just about the Henry deal. The Cowboys are one of the only teams in the league that hasn’t signed an outside free agent so far. The only move they have made this off-season is re-signing their long snapper Trent Sieg. They still have a lot of needs to address, and they even have to make some moves inside their camp.
