After losing three games straight to the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs, the Los Angeles Lakers were under pressure. Among all the players, Shooting Guard Austin Reaves showed the most emotions. Before the game, Austin Reaves hugged the coach as he had gone through many emotions before losing 0-3 tonight.

Reaves also opened up about the loss in a post-game interview. “got to man up and go win games.”

In Game 3 of the Western Conference first-round series, Reaves played for 41 minutes and contributed 22 points, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Unfortunately, the Lakers lost 112-105 to the Nuggets.

Even though Reaves’ performance improved in Game 3, it was not enough to help the Lakers win the series, as they performed poorly in the previous two games.

Austin Reaves really went through all his emotions

In Saturday’s Game 4, Reaves will try to replicate his excellent performance, which is essential for the Lakers to avoid elimination in the first round. In the series, Reaves has scored an average of 14.7 points per game, with a shooting percentage of 45.9 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from three.

The Lakers need more support from their role players if they want to win games, especially if they want to make a historic comeback from a 3-0 series deficit. Although the team has experimented with different game plans and strategies, they have yet to surpass the current champions.

In the last game, only three players scored more than 10 points: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Reaves. Austin scored 22 points, James scored 26 points, and Davis scored 33 points and 15 assists.
