People are freaking out because Beyonce dropped that alcohol!
But B can break her own rules. So those of you who have not been living under a rock for the last few days know that Beyonce and Nicki Minaj released their “Feeling Myself” video on Monday and while the Beyhive and a good portion of the rest of the world have been losing their minds over the video in general, something has been discovered in the video that is turning some frowns upside down and all the way around.
During the scene when Beyonce is partying in a Jacuzzi with some bubbly, you don’t see it in the video but a photo from behind the scenes has surfaced of Queen B pouring out a bottle of Armand de Brignac also known as Ace of Spades. And if you’re wondering why everyone is freaking out, if you attempt to go buy a bottle, you’re credit card will learn very quickly what all the fuss is about because the scanner will tell you declined. The stuff sells for 300 to THOUSANDS of dollars. As in 300 dollars starting price. As in us common folk should not own a bottle if we want to continue eating.
So naturally Twitter is freaking out.
One person tweeted the pic of beyonce pouring the liquid life savings into the Jacuzzi with a caption saying – “Beyonce pouring my college tuition into a hot tub.”
Another said QUOTE – “Hey Beyoncé. How about instead of pouring that 20k champagne in a hot tub you give it to me and I’ll return it and not worry about my bills.”
The struggle is real. Now some are going as far as to say that the bottle B is holding is worth anywhere ftom 10 to 20 thousand dollars and if that’s true, whoever stamped that price tag on a bottle of champagne needs to be slapped.
In this case, that person is Jay-Z. So even if the bottle B is holding really is worth 20,000 dollars, it’s not like anyone actually had to pay for it. It’s called product placement people. Jay owns the company that makes Ace of Spades! So no, Beyonce did not really drop that alcohol. Well yes she did, but she didn’t pay for it. But even if she had paid for it Beyonce can pour out whatever she wants to.
So what do you guys think? Does that bottle really cost 20,000 dollars and if you had it, would you spend that much money on a bubbly beverage?
