VIDEO: Titans QB Will Levis Was Firing Up The Nashville Crowd By Performing A Disgusting Act To A Dead Catfish During Predators-Canucks Playoff Game

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis found a hilarious way to fire up Nashville Predators fans ahead of their home playoff game against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday.

Will Levis was in attendance for Game 4 of the Preds-Canucks first round playoff series at Bridgestone Arena. Before the game started, cameras caught the second-year quarterback kissing a catfish in a gesture that got the crowd rocking:

For those who are unaware, it’s a tradition for Nashville Predators fans to throw a catfish onto the ice during home games. According to The Tennessean, Predators fans did it in response to the Detroit Red Wings and their tradition of throwing an octopus onto the ice.

The Predators squeaked into a playoff spot with a 47-30-5 record, good enough for the top wild card spot in the Western Conference. The Preds are looking to win their first playoff series since 2018, when they dispatched the Colorado Avalanche in round one.

The Titans drafted Levis in the second round (33rd overall) last year. The Kentucky product was widely expected to be a top-10 pick, but Levis surprisingly went uncalled in round one, allowing Tennessee to trade up to get their guy.

As a rookie, Levis completed 58.4 percent of pass attempts for 1,808 yards and eight touchdowns against four interceptions.

Will Levis Should Break Out In Year 2

The Titans have wasted little time improving the roster around Levis, who should take that next step forward following a stellar rookie year.

Tennessee signed star wide receiver Calvin Ridley in free agency, giving Levis another superstar to complement DeAndre Hopkins. They also signed two-time 1,000-yard rusher Tony Pollard in free agency.

With the No. 7 selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, Tennessee selected Alabama offensive tackle JC Latham. If he reaches his full potential, Levis could have two all-world offensive tackles in Latham and 2023 first-round pick Peter Skoronski.
